Qualifications
- Health Care Aide (HCA) Certificate from a recognized program
- Previous home care, long-term care, or healthcare experience preferred
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle with valid insurance
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Document care provided according to company standards
- Travel to clients' homes within Calgary and surrounding areas
